The MorElectric system will use a belt-driven generator, which replaces the automotive alternator to provide the electrical power to drive the accessories integrated into the system. "Eliminating the gear or belt connection," Orr said, "allows for greater flexibility in locating electrically driven components, as they are no longer required to be engine-mounted'' The Morfllectric System also encourages the use of modular plug-in subsystems using high volume, cost-effective components, Orr said."MorElectric technology reduces various parasitic losses and removes the air conditioner thermal load from the radiator, diminishing the need to redesign radiator packages to handle higher thermal loads," Orr said. He added that the electric power could be leveraged for other purposes such as exhaust aftertreatment or for a variety of devices on the chassis, like a tailgate lift. The system can also supply 110 Va.c., 60 Hz power for hand tools or emergency lights.

The new separator on the 7460 reduces the amount of green bolls and rocks entering the cleaner. This increases the life of the saws and puts fewer green bolls in the basket, which saves money through reduced ginning costs.Cleaning capacity is also enhanced because of new finger grates that are six inches wider. This design facilitates the use of all 60-inches of the on-board field cleaner.Other cleaner improvements allow faster field speeds, with less plugging, and reduced maintenance time. A new lower saw reclamation brush on the lower saw drum grabs cotton before it falls out of the cleaner and guides it to the basket. This puts more cotton in the basket and less in the burr trail, which improves turnout.

Though light in weight, Airbor magnetic drill has a powerful 1.6-hp air motor and 1,600-lb magnetic holding strength. With its extra rack, stroke length is extended to 10 1/4 in. Annular cutter capacity is up to 2 1/16 in. diam. Geared chuck adapter converts the unit to a standard drill press. The Slugger Air Force pneumatic drill, at 24 lbs, 6 1/4" high, is useful for confined area drilling.
