Like an air scribe, it operates with compressed air (needing a 90 psi compressor or bottled air), an enclosed work chamber, and a dust collector to keep the lab free of air contaminants. Having dry air available is extremely important for any miniature sandblasting tool because damp grits tend to cake and clog the unit''s tiny jets. In-line air desiccant filters are a necessity, even in normally very dry Arizona.
